The student who completes the course successfully will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of benefits and risks of the practice of physical activities in subjects of different age, gender, physical and mental condition, psycho-motor skills and the level of risk associated with outcomes of chronic diseases. He or she will have the knowledge on technical direction and supervision of motor programs adapted to healthy adults, adolescents, the elderly, patients with postural defects or pathological conditions stabilized. The student will be able to plan and supervise individualized exercise prescriptions, based on medical indications and evaluation data mobility.
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression. The student's ability to explain correctly the main topics presented during the course at the board will be assessed

The course provides notions of aging biology and evidence of the primary function that physical activity plays in the aging process, identification and quantification of the load of physical activity, deepening on the therapeutic function of physical-motor-sport. The course also approaches knowledge of various types of sensory deficits apprendendone techniques and tools for the management of physical activities, knowledge of morpho-posture of the lower limbs, spine and pelvic girdle, prevention through proper use of movement and posture.
