*General notes:
there will be a review of statics, presented in parallel in the course of Mechanics of Structures, and of Dynamics; both topics were introduced in the course of General Physics I.

L'esame è composto da una prova scritta ed una prova orale
The exam consists of a written test and an oral test
The written test consists of one exercise in systems kinematics, one in system statics, and one on machine elements and / or oscillations. In addition there may be theory questions The test lasts about 3 hours, takes place in a normal classroom, the student cannot consult material, while the use of the calculator is allowed
The written test is passed / failed if:
the student demonstrates to have clear the basic concepts of statics and kinematics and to know how to apply them. Similarly, on the other parts of the task, the student must show that he has acquired the most elementary concepts, know how to apply them and know how to pass from theory to the numerical part.
The oral exam consists in a discussion of the task, in the clarification of things not clearly stated or not addressed. During the oral test, the candidate may also be asked to solve written problems / exercises, in front of the teacher or separately. Generally the duration of the oral exam is between 30 and 60 minutes.
The oral exam is passed if the interrogation if the candidate shows that he has
