Obiettivi di apprendimento
Conoscenze
Al termine del corso, lo studente deve aver conseguito i seguenti obiettivi formativi:
- conoscere le basi relative ai principi generali delle malattie causate dagli agenti infettivi, in particolare malattie di interesse podologico;
- disporre delle conoscenze essenziali per identificare l'eziologia, l'epidemiologia, la clinica, delle patologie infettive;
- conoscere l’epidemiologia locale, nazionale e mondiale dei germi multi resistenti
- conoscere le problematiche correlate alle più recenti emergenze sanitarie mondiali, inclusa COVID-19
Knowledge
Student Learning Outcomes are statements that describe the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that students should have after successfully finishing their degree. At the end of the course, the student should have achieved the following educational objectives:
- know the basics of the general principles of diseases caused by infectious agents, with particolar interest to disease in the field of foot infectios;
- have the essential knowledge to identify the etiology, epidemiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and therapy of infectious diseases;
- know the local, national and global epidemiology of multi-resistant organisms
know and manage the problems related to the most recent global health emergencies, including COVID-19
Modalità di verifica delle conoscenze
La verifica dell'apprendimento avviene mediante esame orale. L'esame orale consiste in una o più domande sul programma. Il numero delle domande può variare in base al livello di preparazione e di approfondimento della materia evidenziati dallo studente nelle risposte. Al termine dell'esame di Malattie Infettive viene espresso dal Docente un voto in trentesimi.
Per superare l'esame lo studente deve ottenere almeno la sufficienza (18/30).
Assessment criteria of knowledge
Verification of knowledge will take place through an oral exam. The oral exam consists of one or more questions on the program. The number of questions may vary according to the level of preparation and in-depth study highlighted by the student. At the end of the Infectious Diseases exam, a mark is expressed by the teacher. To pass the exam, the student must obtain at least a pass (18/30).

Al termine del corso, lo studente saprà:
- riconoscere le malattie causate dagli agenti infettivi di interesse podologico;
- saper inquadrare il paziente con infezione del piede diabetico e conoscere l'iter diagnostico terapeutico cui deve essere sottoposto
- riconoscere le caratteristiche dei pazienti con patologie infettive
- inquadrare il paziente con COVID-19
Skills
At the end of the course, the student will:
- recognize diseases caused by infectious agents of podological interest;
- know how to manage the patient with diabetic foot infection and know the diagnostic and therapeutic procedure for hese patients recognize the characteristics of patients with infectious diseases
- recognize the characteristics of patients with infectious diseases
- identify the patient with COVID-19 and the main clinical characteristics of this syndrome

- Batteriemia, sepsi, shock settico.
- Le infezioni dell’apparato respiratorio superiore ed inferiore
- COVID-19: epidemiologica, manifestazioni cliniche, diagnosi, prevenzione
- Infezioni batteriche acute di cute e strutture cutanee (ABSSSI): erisipela, cellulite, fascite necrotizzante
- Infezioni del piede diabetico
- Onicomicosi
- Osteomielite infettiva, artrite infettiva
- Le infezioni nosocomiali da germi multiresistenti

- Acute bacterial skin and skin structures infections (ABSSSI): erysipelas, cellulitis, necrotizing fasciitis
