The aim of the course is to provide knowledge on the most important methodologies for the management of industrial maintenance of a production plant.
The student will learn what is presented in the course when he is able to choose and structure a set of maintenance policies for a certain production system.
The student will be able to: evaluate the reliability of a production system, carry out a criticality analysis of a production plant, choose the optimal set of maintenance policies, identify the best spare parts warehouse management policies, define a appropriate coding of spare parts, evaluate the performance of a production system, choose the most suitable monitoring and prognostic techniques for a specific production plant, set up an implementation plan for the main pillars of the TPM.
The assessment of the skills learned takes place through the development of effective solutions for the examples presented during the course
The student can acquire the awareness of how important team work is to guarantee an effective organization of company maintenance processes.
