Al termine del corso:
- Lo studente avrà acquisito conoscenze sulle strutture narrative e sugli elementi della drammaturgia;
- Lo studente avrà acquisito conoscenza sulla differenza tra le scritture nei diversi media;
- Lo studente avrà acquisito le competenze base per la scrittura di un testo teatrale e alcune indicazioni sulla possibile messa in scena;
- Lo studente avrà acquisito, in particolare, le competenze per la scrittura di un adattamento teatrale da opera letteraria, cinematografica o altro media.
By the end of the workshop:
- The student will acquire a basic knowdlege of narrative structures and elements of playwriting;
- The student will acquire knowledge on the difference between the specific writing in different media;
- The student will be able to write his/her play (with some elements of mise-en-escene);
- The student will be able to write an adaptation.
Saranno svolti in itinere esercizi di scrittura e prove di drammaturgia per controllare l'andamento del laboratorio.
There will be ongoing playwriting exercises to assess and monitor academic progress of the workshop.

The student might be more aware of the importance of storytelling in everyday life.

Durante le ore di laboratorio e mediante lettura e valutazione dei compiti assegnati verrano valutate la precisione e la qualità delle attività.
During workshop sessions and through the evaluation of the assignments the precision and quality of the activities will be evaluated.
Il corso è particolarmente indicato per gli studenti che abbiano sostenuto qualche esame in ambito teatrale o siano interessati al teatro, alla drammaturgia o alla scrittura creativa.
The workshop is particularly indicated for students who have sustained exams on theatre or are interested in theatre, playwriting, screenwriting or creative writing.
Anche se saranno presenti momenti di lezione frontale, buona parte del corso si svolgerà sotto forma di laboratorio pratico di scrittura.
There will be moments of lecture but it will be mostly be a creative writing workshop.
(Drammatizzazione dei testi narrativi) Si passerà dallo studio e analisi della scrittura per la scena al modo in cui un testo narrativo può essere adattato per il teatro. Attraverso l'esame di alcuni adattamenti procederemo alla scelta e alla scrittura del nostro.
(Adaptation) We'll begin with study and analysis of playwriting and then we'll learn the way in which a narrative text can be "translated" for theatre. Through the examination of other adaptation we'll proceed with the choice of our project.
Tutto il materiale didattico verrà fornito nel corso del laboratorio.
"L'ABC della drammaturgia" di Yves Lavendier (vol. 1) può essere un buon testo di base.
All the material will be provided by the teacher during the workshop.
"The ABC of playwriting" by Yves Lavandier (vol.1) may be a good starting point.
L'esame consiste in una prova orale (che seguirà un'elaborazione scritta dello studente).
La prova orale consiste nella discussione con il professore del proprio progetto di adattamento teatrale.
Nella prova verrà giudicata la qualità del progetto e dell'ipotesi di messa in scena.
The Exam is an oral test (in which will be discussed a project written by the student).
The oral test will be the discussion of the student's adaptation project.
The failure/success of the exam will depend on the quality of the project.
