Il corso offre una visione aggiornata degli ultimi sviluppi della sicurezza informatica nella gestione dei dati e dei sistemi, con il riferimento principale a sistemi operativi, sistemi distribuiti e sistemi mobili. Gli argomenti trattati sono la definizione di minacce ai sistemi informatici e la discussione delle contromisure che possono essere adottate. Per ogni argomento trattato, il corso presenta le basi, gli aspetti di progettazione dei sistemi sicuri e fornisce esempi dal mondo reale di standard e applicazioni.
The course provides an up-to-date view of the latest developments of cybersecurity in data and system management, with the main reference to operating systems, distributed systems, and mobile systems. The covered topics are the definition of threats to computer systems and the discussion of the countermeasures that can be taken. For each covered topic, the course presents its foundations, the design aspects of secure systems and provides examples from the real world of standards and applications.
