Lo studente attraverso gli argomenti trattati acquisirà una sensibilità verso i temi dell’insegnamento. Ciò permetterà lo sviluppo di conoscenze e strumenti utili nell’orientamento e nell’interpretazione dei casi d’attualità, con particolare riferimento alla privacy nella comunicazione on line, e ai fenomeni dell’hate speech e delle fake news.
The topics analysed will raise student awareness to the issues and themes dealt with during lectures. This will allow for the development of knowledge and acquisition of analytical tools with which to interpret current events, with particular reference to privacy in online communication, and the new issues of hate speech and fake news.
Durante il corso verranno discussi casi di attualità al fine di verificare le capacità di orientamento tra teoria e applicazione pratica. La verifica delle conoscenze sarà effettuata attraverso un test finale.
During the course recent cases will be discussed in order to evaluate the student’s ability to translate theory into practical application. The verification of knowledge will be carried out through a final test.
Al termine del corso, lo studente saprà riconoscere le specifiche applicazioni della comunicazione online con riferimento ad alcune problematiche attuali quali la privacy, le fake news e l’hate speech. Inoltre, il metodo d’insegnamento proposto permetterà una partecipazione attiva che potrà incentivare le capacità comunicative dello studente.
By the end of the course, students will be able to recognize the specific applications of online communication with reference to current issues such as privacy, fake news and hate speech. In addition, the proposed teaching method will encourage active participation to improve the student's communication skills.
Le capacità saranno verificate attraverso l’analisi in aula di casi empirici del temi oggetto del seminario. I criteri di valutazione saranno: la capacità di comprensione e di esposizione; l’autonomia di giudizio; le abilità argomentative.
The students’ abilities will be verified through analyses of empirical cases of seminar topics. The evaluation criteria will be: the ability to understand and expound on a given topic; the ability to formulate independent evaluations; argumentative skills.
Lo studente maturerà una postura critica rispetto alle problematiche relative ai temi del seminario. A tal fine, sarà incoraggiato a illustrare le proprie opinioni personali e discutere in modo argomentato le sue deduzioni.
The student will develop an awareness of the problems relating to seminar topics. To this end, s/he will be able to form personal opinions and discuss her/his deductions in a reasoned way.
Durante il corso, gli studenti saranno coinvolti in maniera interattiva, anche con la partecipazione di esperti esterni.
During the course, students will be involved in an interactive way, also with the participation of experts in the field.
Considerato il carattere introduttivo del corso, non sono richiesti specifici prerequisiti. Tuttavia, una conoscenza basilare dei principi fondamentali della Costituzione faciliterà la preparazione dell’esame.
Given the introductory nature of the course, no specific prerequisites are required. However, a basic knowledge of the fundamental principle of the Constitution will facilitate exam preparation.
Gli argomentati trattati saranno relativi alla scrittura dei testi e alla problematiche dell'informazione e delle comunicazioni on line. In particolare, saranno oggetto di approfondimento temi recenti quali quello della privacy, delle fake news e dell’hate speech.
The items will be related to the writing of texts and to the problems of information and (on line) communication. In particular, recent topics such as privacy, fake news and hate speech will be discussed.
Le indicazioni bibliografiche saranno fornite durante il corso. Verranno messe a disposizione le slide e i link ai materiali di volta in volta utilizzati.
Bibliographic information will be provided during the course. The slides and links to the materials used will be made available.
L'esame consiste in un test finale, scritto, con più domande, a risposta chiusa o aperta.
The exam consists of a final written test, with multiple questions, with closed or open answers.
