Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of social-spatial dimensions of travel. He or she will be able to discuss the main concepts related to the travel (migration, mobility, cultural exchange). He or she will be able to discuss the interactions between travel and urban transformation.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
- The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. - The student's ability to explain correctly the main topics presented during the course at the board will be assessed.

Syllabus
The course analyze the social- spatial dimensions of travel starting from the concepts of mobility and cultural exchange. A part of the course will be dedicated to relationships between travel and urban space.
