Knowledge
The student who completes the course successfully will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge in interfacing the outputs of sensors to a data acquisition system. He or she will be able to compute and minimize the noise of signal conditioning electronics with special regard to the "Charge amplifier" used in the analog processing of the charge signal produced by a Ionizing Detector. Lastly, he or she will acquire a deep knowledge for what concern the Analog to Digital Conversion.
