Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be aware of the fundamental causes of ongoing climatic and environmental change. He/she will have an advanced knowledge of the indicators of climatic/environmental change and of the methods used to quantify it in the wide perspective of a geologcal time frame. The student will be able to critically evaluate the literature on the topic of environmental change including the IPCC reports.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her ability to critically discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. He/she will demonstrate to have aquired the ability to carry out either the practical activities illustrated by the teacher during the fieldwork or the bibliografhic research agreed with the teacher.Methods:
