Knowledge
This course has two main target: 1) to improve the student's knolwdge on basic systematic of marine animals; 2) to supply some basic knowledge on a demographic approach to the study of animal populations. At the end of the course the student will demonstrate to to have acieved a an advanced knowledge on: 1) taxonomy and ecology of marine animals, 2) peculiar couuminties like the "coralligenous species assemblage" and "corali reefs"; 3) natural populations 4) growth rates, growth curves, life tables, mortality tables.
