Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student is asked to provide a written report about a topic discussed in class.
The student must demonstrate his ability to organize the selected topic and put in relation with the main topics discussed during the course

The course deal with the history of China since the rise of Manchu and the founding of the Qing Dynasty to Cultural Revolution, Reform and the open up of contemporary China.
Particular attention will be paid to the intaerwar period.
