The student who successfully completes the course will have the ability to evaluate the
-feasibility of a M&A
-operation of turnaround
-financing strategies
-realizing a business plan
Assessment criteria of knowledge
In the written exam (2 hours), the student must demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and to organize an effective and correctly written reply.
With the oral presentation, to be made to the teacher and the other students, the student must demonstrate the ability to approach a circumscribed research problem, and organize an effective exposition of the results.

Syllabus
The course wants to analyze the valuation process in capital market operations. The focus will be the study of the M&A, about strategic and evaluation problem. A second part is an analysis of the company defined in “special situations”, with particular attention to turnaround strategy. The course foresees an interactive didactics, with the carrying out of exercises through the use of computer. There are, as integral part of the course, some business testimonies of experienced entrepreneurs of listed companies.
A part of course is focused on business planning process for M&A and Turnaround.
