Conoscenze

Il corso è orientato all’analisi strategica e valutativa delle operazioni di natura straordinaria, in particolare delle M&A e del Turnaround, in un’ottica di creazione di valore per l’investitore industriale e finanziario. 

Lo studente sarà in grado di realizzare un business plan.
Knowledge

The course is oriented to the strategic and evaluative analysis of extraordinary transactions, in particular of M&A and Turnaround, with a view to creating value for the industrial and financial investor.

The student will be able to create a business plan.
Modalità di verifica delle conoscenze

Per l'accertamento delle conoscenze saranno discussi case studies realizzati dagli studenti in gruppo o singolarmente.

Gli studenti dovranno svolgere un business plan su quesiti posti da operatori del mondo economico (imprenditori, managers, operatori di private equity, etc.) 

 
Assessment criteria of knowledge

For the assessment of knowledge, case studies carried out by students in groups or individually will be discussed.

Students will have to carry out a business plan on questions posed by operators in the economic world (entrepreneurs, managers, private equity operators, etc.) The course is oriented to the strategic and evaluative analysis of extraordinary transactions, in particular of M&A and Turnaround, with a view to creating value for the industrial and financial investor.

Lo studente sarà in grado di:  

  • realizzare un business plan
  • fare valutazioni di operazioni di M&A

The student will be able to:

  • create a business plan
  • make assessments of M&A transactions

Lo studente dovrà realizzare:

  • lavori di gruppo
  • una relazione scritta relativa al business plan
  • preparare una presentazione in power point
  • preparare uno speech in inglese

Durante i lavori di gruppo, il tutoraggio e la presentazioni saranno valutate le capacità di organizzare il lavoro in team. Saranno inolte verifcate le capacità di gestione dei rapporti con le imprese ed altri interlocutori del mondo reale

 
Assessment criteria of behaviors

During group work, tutoring and presentations, the ability to organize team work will be evaluated. The ability to manage relationships with companies and other interlocutors in the real world will also be verified
Prerequisiti (conoscenze iniziali)

Per lo svolgimento del business plan lo studente deve aver già sostenuto l'esame di Finanza Aziendale

The  student must have already taken the Corporate Finance 
Indicazioni metodologiche

 

Il corso verrà  svolto:

  • con lo svolgimento di lezioni frontali, con ausilio di slide
  • con l'analisi di case studies e simulazioni in gruppo e singolarmente, utilizzo dei PC delle aule informatiche e/o personali degli studenti
  • discussione di un progetto di businnes plan
  • con seminari di esperti
  • con l'accesso a siti per la raccolta delle informazioni
  • tutto il materiale presentato a lezione e durante le esercitazioni saranno disponibilià  sulla piattaforma elearning
  • gli studenti potranno chiedere chiarimenti durante i ricevimenti settimanali, mediante email
  • non sono previste prove intermedie
  • uso parziale della lingua inglese

 
Teaching methods

 The course will be held:

  • with lectures, with the aid of slides
  • with the analysis of case studies and simulations in groups and individually, use of PCs in the computer and / or personal classrooms of students
  • discussion of a business plan project
  • with expert seminars
  • with access to sites for collecting information
  • all the material presented in class and during the exercises will be available on the e-learning platform
  • students will be able to ask for clarifications during the weekly receptions, by email
  • there are no intermediate tests
  • partial use of the English language
