Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate a basic knowlwedge of the classical mechanics of pointlike and extended objects, of classical gravitation and of data analysis.
The student will have the ability to analyze and solve simple problems in mechanics and to perform simple experiments.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
In the written exam (3 hours, two or three simple problems in mechanics, 3 or 4 questions each) the student must demonstrate his/her practical knowledge of the course material and must consistently apply his/her knowledge in problem solving.
