Il corso si propone di fornire allo studente una conoscenza quanto più puntuale possibile delle tematiche trattate e la capacità di riorganizzare quanto ha appreso in quadri sistematici e coerenti.
The course aims to provide students with the most accurate knowledge possible of the topics treated and the ability to reorganise what they have learnt into systematic and coherent frameworks.
Le conoscenze saranno accertate informalmente in itinere attraverso il commento in forma scritta di passi indicati dalla docente. L'accertamento formale delle conoscenze avverrà nella verifica finale (esame orale).
Knowledge will be assessed informally in itinere through written commentary on passages indicated by the professor. Formal assessment of knowledge will take place in the final examination (interview).
Capacità di analizzare e sintetizzare le informazioni; di interpretarle con senso critico e di verificarne l’adeguatezza; di formulare giudizi in autonomia, di argomentarli efficacemente e di difenderne la validità.
Capacity to analyse and synthesise informations; to interpret them critically and check their appropriateness; to make judgements independently, to argue them effectively and to defend their validity.
Le capacità saranno verificate attraverso il dibattito e la discussione in aula con la docente e con gli altri studenti.
Skills will be assessed through debate and discussion in the classroom with the professor and the other students.
Un ulteriore obiettivo del corso è quello di promuovere un comportamento di scambio di conoscenze, di dibattito critico e di difesa ragionata delle proprie posizioni.
A further aim of the course is to promote a behaviour of knowledge exchange, critical debate and reasoned defence of one's own positions.
Osservazione del comportamento in aula, in particolare durante richieste di chiarimento o dibattiti. Verifica formale durante l'esame finale (colloquio orale).

Il corso si comporrà di lezioni frontali e di lezioni a carattere seminariale, nelle quali gli studenti commenteranno autonomamente i passi indicati dalla docente (anche in forma scritta), dando prova di saperne rielaborare e riproporre in maniera corretta i contenuti.
Si raccomanda agli studenti:
1. di frequentare regolarmente le lezioni;
2. di procurarsi i testi in programma e di portarli in aula fin dall'inizio del corso (tranne il testo a scelta);
3. di considerare, quali principali strumenti di lavoro, i testi e i materiali forniti a lezione, o eventualmente consigliati dalla docente. NON SERVIRSI DI MATERIALI REPERITI SUL WEB.
The course will consist of face-to-face lectures and seminar-style lectures, in which students will comment independently on the passages indicated by the professor (also in written form), demonstrating their ability to rework and re-present the topics correctly.
It is recommended to students:
1. to attend classes regularly;
2. to procure the texts in the syllabus and bring them to the classroom from the beginning of the course (except for the text of their choice);
3. to consider, as their main working tools, the texts and materials provided in class, or possibly recommended by the professor. DO NOT USE MATERIALS FOUND ON THE WEB.
L’intento del corso è illuminare i tratti salienti della filosofia di Friedrich Nietzsche, a partire da due opere che si collocano quasi agli antipodi della sua produzione filosofica, Umano, troppo umano (1878) e Crepuscolo degli idoli (1888). Con incursioni in altre opere pubblicate e nel materiale postumo, si toccheranno alcuni tra i temi principali della filosofia nietzscheana (origine e natura della morale; psicofisiologia, volontà di potenza e décadence; etica...), senza trascurare la complessa storia dell’edizione dei testi e il loro rapporto con l’extratesto (fonti di lettura e contesto).
The aim of the course is to illuminate the main features of Friedrich Nietzsche's philosophy, starting with two works that stand almost at the antipodes of his philosophical production, Human, Too Human (1878) and Twilight of the Idols (1888). With incursions into other published works and posthumous material, some of the main themes of Nietzsche's philosophy (origin and nature of morality; psychophysiology, will to power and décadence; ethics...) will be touched upon, without neglecting the complex history of the edition of the texts and their relationship to the extratext (sources of reading and context).

Il programma per gli studenti non frequentanti è analogo a quello per frequentanti. I materiali forniti dalla docente a lezione verranno messi a disposizione su piattaforma Moodle o analogo.
The syllabus for non-attending students is the same as for attending students. The materials provided by the lecturer in the classroom will be made available on the Moodle platform or similar.
L'esame finale sarà orale e verterà sui testi in programma, che andranno letti interamente. L'esame verterà in particolare sugli argomenti trattati a lezione.
The final examination will be oral and will focus on the texts in the syllabus, which must be read in their entirety. The examination will focus in particular on the topics covered in the lectures.
