The student will acquire a general knowledge of European economic history from the Middle Ages to present

The knowledge will be tested with a written exam
Lo studente sarà in grado di leggere e commentare semplici testi di storia economica ed economia
The student will be able to read and comment simple texts in economic history and economics
Le capacità saranno valutate in sede di esame
The students will be asked to read a simple textbook and explain it at the exam
The student will be able to organize its study independently and will be encouraged to look for additional reading
The student will be asked to put forward personal comments with questioning during lectures

Il corso affronterà tutti i principali temi dell'evoluzione dell'economia europea dal Medioevo ad oggi, con particolare attenzione alle caratteristiche strutturali dell'economia pre-industriale, alla Rivoluzionei industriale inglese ed alla diffusione dell'industrializzazione nei secolo 19 e 20 ed alla globalizzaizone

Requirements as attneding students
L'esame si svolgereà in forma scritta. Gli studenti dovranno rispondere a tre domande su quattro (in inglese). L'esame si considererà superato se la media delle tre risposte supererà 18 (ciascuna risposta mancante sarà valutata zero)
The student will be asked to answer three questions out of four. The exam will be passed id the average of the answers exceeds 18 (zero for no answer)
