Obiettivo del corso è un approfondimento e integrazione delle tematiche trattate nel Modulo A e/o di allargare le conoscenze acquisite affrontando argomenti specifici all'attenzione della ricerca internazionale.
Questo approfondimento può trattare aspetti che riguardano l'ambito economico, sociale, simbolico, produttivo e organizzativo delle società preistoriche, l'approvvigionamento e la distribuzione delle materie prime, oppure può essere presa in considerazione una regione particolare per definirne le caratteristiche durante la Preistoria.
The aim of the course is to deepen and integrate the issues dealt with in Module A and / or to broaden the knowledge acquired by addressing specific topics to the attention of international research.
Topics can deal with aspects concerning the economic, social, symbolic, productive and organizational aspects of prehistoric societies, the procurement and distribution of raw materials, or a particular region can be considered to define its characteristics during Prehistory.
L’acquisizione delle conoscenze è verificata durante lo svolgimento del corso mediante interazione dialettica tra docente e studenti e nell'esito dell'esame finale.
The acquisition of knowledge is verified during the course through dialectical interaction between teacher and students and in the outcome of the final exam.
Lo studente acquisisce la capacità critica per valutare le diverse teorie interpretative offerte dagli studiosi riguardo particolari tematiche, le competenze teoriche per affrontare ed organizzare in autonomia un eventuale lavoro di ricerca nel settore disciplinare, nonchè capacità di orientarsi nella scelta di una tematica di ricerca che potrà sviluppare con successo eventualmente come tesi.
Acquisisce anche terminologia specifica, anche in lingua straniera, che lo aiuterà nella lettura e comprensione dei lavori specialistici. Infine acquisisce ulteriore capacità di riconoscimento di materiali, tecniche di indagine e approcci conoscitivi nel settore disciplinare.
The student acquires the critical ability to evaluate the different interpretative theories offered by the scholars regarding particular themes, the theoretical skills to face and organize independently any research work in the disciplinary field, as well as the ability to orientate in the choice of a research topic that might successfully develop as a thesis. He also acquires specific terminology, also in a foreign language, which will help her/him to read and understand the specialized works. Finally, student acquires additional capacity to recognize materials, survey techniques and cognitive approaches in the disciplinary sector.
La verifica avviene mediante discussione dei punti critici che coinvolge gli studenti durante la presentazione degli argomenti trattati.
Nella discussione, stimolata durante la presentazione delle tematiche, viene verificato quanto gli studenti siano in grado di proporre osservazioni critiche e commenti appropriati sullo stato delle conoscenze attuali nei diversi ambiti trattati.
Verification takes place through discussion of critical points that involves students during the presentation of the topics covered. In the discussion, stimulated during the presentation of the issues, it is verified how much the students are able to propose critical observations and appropriate comments on the current state of knowledge in the different areas covered.
Lo scopo è quello di incoraggiare lo studente ad un comportamento critico attivo e non passivo nell'affrontare lo studio della storia più antica dell'uomo.
The purpose is to encourage the student to an active and non-passive critical behavior in dealing with the study of the most ancient history of man.
I comportamenti dello studente si esprimono durante il dibattito in aula e al colloquio finale dell'esame.
The student's behavior is expressed during the classroom debate and at the final exam session.
Necessari requisiti sono:
- conoscenza generale dell'evoluzione fisica e culturale dell'uomo;
- conoscenza delle principali dinamiche ambientali e culturali che hanno avuto come scenario i Paesi del Bacino Mediterraneo tra il Paleolitico inferiore e l'età dei Metalli;
- interesse specifico all'approfondimento della disciplina;
Requirements are:
- general knowledge of man's physical and cultural evolution;
- knowledge of the main environmental and cultural dynamics that have had as a scenario the Countries of the Mediterranean Basin between the Lower Paleolithic and the age of Metals;
- specific interest in deepening the discipline;
Conoscenza della Lingua Inglese che permetta la lettura, lo studio e la comprensione di testi inerenti le tematiche affrontate da questo settore disciplinare.
Knowledge of the English language that allows the reading, study and understanding of texts related to the issues addressed by this discipline.
Conoscenza di una seconda lingua straniera oltre l'Inglese.
Perfetta padronanza della Lingua Inglese che consenta di esprimersi correttamente, presentare una comunicazione ad un convegno, e di redigere un testo correttamente da presentare per la pubblicazione.
Knowledge of a second foreign language besides English.
Perfect mastery of the English language that allows you to express yourself correctly, present a communication to a conference, and draw up a text that might be presented for publication.
E' utile procedere alla lettura dei testi indicati contestualmente alla frequenza delle lezioni, in modo da poter acquisire progressivamente le conoscenze, individuare e discutere le criticità eventualmente presentate dalle ipotesi ricostruttive con cognizione di causa.
It is useful to proceed with the reading of the texts indicated at the same time as the lessons, so as to be able to progressively acquire the knowledge, identify and discuss any critical issues presented by the reconstructive hypotheses with full knowledge of the topics.
Il modulo B approfondirà alcuni aspetti della Preistoria recente e della Protostoria, che per necessità di tempo non possono essere trattati nel modulo A, quali:
- il contributo delle indagini scientifiche alla ricostruzione delle produzioni e della circolazione dei materiali preistorici;
- la struttura sociale e l'organizzazione delle comunità;
- pratiche rituali e funerarie;
- l'approvvigionamento e la distribuzione delle materie prime;
- cronologia degli eventi in Preistoria e Protostoria: lo stato attuale;
- analisi di una regione o un'area diversa da quella considerata nel Modulo A per acquisire termini di confronto, comparazione o esempi di comportamenti alternativi messi in atto dalle popolazioni umane.
Module B will illustrate some aspects of recent Prehistory and Protohistory, which due to time requirements can not be treated in Module A, such as:
- the contribution of scientific investigations to the reconstruction of production and the circulation of prehistoric materials;
- the social structure and the organization of the communities;
-ritual and funeral practices;
- supply and distribution of raw materials;
- chronology of events in Prehistory and Protohistory: the current state;
- analysis of a region or area other than that considered in Module A to acquire terms of comparison, or examples of alternative behaviors implemented by human populations.
La bibliografia di base è fornita dal docente sotto forma di testi in pdf insieme ai contenuti delle lezioni.
The basic bibliography is provided by the teacher in the form of texts in pdf along with the contents of the lessons.
gli studenti che non frequentano possono concordare con il docente un programma che consenta di preparare l'esame in modo completo.
In questo caso una bibliografia di base è indicata dal docente insieme a quella di approfondimento.
Per quanto riguarda la prova finale anche i non frequentanti sosterranno un esame in forma orale.
Students who can not attend lessons can agree with the teacher a program that allows to prepare the exam in a complete way. In this case a basic bibliography is indicated by the teacher together with the in-depth one. As for the final exam, non-attending students will also take an oral exam.
La prova finale consiste nella presentazione di argomenti in forma orale, mediante risposta a domande poste dal docente volte all'accertamento del livello di preparazione dello studente.
La prova si ritiene superata quando la risposta alle domande è positiva, articolata in maniera coerente e ordinata, i contenuti rivelano una assimilazione approfondita delle tematiche e delle letture indicate, l’interpretazione delle letture è condotta con metodo e spirito critico con capacità di collegamento logico delle informazioni.
The final exam consists in presenting oral topics, by answering questions asked by the teacher to ascertain the student's level of preparation. The test is considered outdated when the answer to the questions is positive, articulated in a coherent and ordered way, the contents reveal a thorough assimilation of the issues and the readings indicated, the interpretation of the readings is conducted with method and critical spirit with logical linking abilityof information.
