Syllabus
Functional classification of materials adopted in nuclear plants. Identification in the requirements for the adoption of the different functional classes, with main reference to conditions of normal, transient and accident operations at all the possible levels. Comparison and selection criteria for the different material in each class. Analysis of production and qualification processes of nuclear materials. Criteria for the analysis of material behavior in different reactor types.
