Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will have a solid knowledge of the
main issues related to the differential and integral calculus for real functions of one variable. The student will also be able to evaluate the convergence of numerical series and improper integrals.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The exam has three parts: a quiz with multiple choice, a written exam and an oral exam.
Each part is mandatory for the following one.
In the written exam the student has to discuss the method used to solve some mathematical problems.
In the oral exam the student must show its knowledge of all the statements learned in the course and also to develop some of the main proofs.
