Far acquisire ai frequentatori le basi riguardanti il potere marittimo, l’evoluzione del naviglio, delle tattiche, delle strategie e i maggiori eventi in ambito navale riferiti al periodo antico, moderno e contemporaneo.
For students to acquire an understanding of the fundamentals of Maritime Power, the evolution of ships, tactics, strategies and the major events in naval history from Ancient, Modern and Contemporary periods.
Esame finale orale. Sono previsti test intermedi.
Final oral exam. Intermediate tests are scheduled.
Al termine del corso lo studente sarà in grado di procedere ad un'apprezzabile analisi della storia navale specialmente del periodo moderno e contemporaneo.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to make a remarkable analysis of the naval history especially of the modern and contemporary periods.
Durante l'esame orale finale sarà valutata la capacità esplicativa dello studente in merito alle nozioni apprese durante l'insegnamento.
During the final oral exam, the student's explanatory skills will be assessed on the concepts learned during the course.

La prova finale sarà orale. Essa consiste in un colloquio tra il candidato, il docente e un membro militare. Tale prova non è superata, se il candidato mostra di non aver compreso le nozioni fondamentali e/o di non essere in grado di esprimersi in modo chiaro, usando la terminologia appropriata.
The final examination will be oral. It consists of an interview between the student, the teacher and a military member. The oral examination won’t be passed if the applicant students show not to have understood the main concepts and not to be able to express themselves clearly and to use the proper vocaboulary.
