Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate solid knowledge of radar, both in terms of understanding how radar functions and knowing its various applications. The student will also be aware of the different types of radar and evaluate the pros and cons of them when applied to a specific scenario by means of a performance analysis. He/She will also be able to tackle challenging problems regarding both the design of radars and the development of suitable signal processing.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression.
