Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who succesfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the principles of the infectious diseases and to be able to recognize infectious diseases that involve oral cavity.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
In the written exam (20 minutes, 15 multiple choice questions) the student's preparation on the different arguments that have been addressed during the course will be assessed.

Syllabus
The course will provide the principles of pathogenesis, diagnosis and prevention of the most important infectious diseases in human caused by various microorganisms (bacteria, virus, fungi) with a particular focus on diseases that involve oral cavity.
