Molecular biology course focuses on the molecular structures and processes of cellular life with a major attention on genome structure and function, nucleic acid replication and reparative processes, gene transcription regulation and post-transcriptional modifications. By the means of laboratory practice the students will acquire expertise in molecular biology techniques commonly used for studying gene expression and cellular metabolism at molecular level.
