The course aims at providing students with the theoretical and practical basic knowledge needed for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of organic and inorganic health products. In particular, this objective is achieved by means of analytical techniques through the identification of inorganic ions, the determination of fundamental physical constants, the functional groups identification by the use of characteristic reactions, the theoretical knowledge and application of the main analytical methods used in the quantitative determination of inorganic and organic compounds. The knowledge gained from this class enables the student to develop a qualified preparation for the practical professional work in a chemical laboratory.
