The cours aims to provide knowledge regarding the chemical fundamentals of ligand-receptor interactions and the transduction of signals within the cell, with particular reference to intracellular receptors, membrane receptors, channel receptors, transmembrane 7-helical receptors, receptors with tyrosine kinase activity, receptors with guanylate-cyclase activity.
