Students will have the opportunity to learn which morpho-functional traits are related to plant invasiveness, how biological invasions are threatening biodiversity and to which extent humans contribute to the diffusion of invasive species, with special focus on farming and livestock activities. Students will be made aware of the current regulation concerning the management of invasive alien species and will become familiar with the alien invasive plants of EU concern that are of major interest for agroecosystems.
