The course illustrates the most important changes in the European and world economy between the 18th and 19th centuries (from the pre-industrial society to the market economy). The course deals with the economic, social and civil changes of humanity caused by technological innovations, progresses in the education system, government systems, the discoveries of new materials, the development of economic culture, the banking sector and the modern financial system.
