The course aims to provide knowledge on the basic concepts of general toxicology and special toxicology, experimental methods for the evaluation of toxicity of xenobiotics for humans and the environment, with particular attention to the new European regulations of CLP and REACh for risk assessment. The course also expects a part of special toxicology that evaluate the toxicity, exposure and antidotism of the main known pollutants, as well as new emerging pollutants.
