The aim of the course is to provide a basic knowledge of the main human diseases, and of the biological and clinical problems connected with them, in order to help the engagement of the students in the fields of biomedical research and clinical laboratory.

The course will cover the areas of endocrine and metabolic diseases, including the metabolic syndrome and connected diseases cardiovascular diseases, blood, blood clotting, and haemostasis, , diseases of liver and gastrointestinal tract, diseases of lung and kidney.
