Learning outcomes
The course will cover two main subjecys: general etiology, that will include the description of the main disease agents and their interaction with the human tissues, and immunology, where the students will be introduced to the higher levels of recognition and interaction with the biological agents of disease.
Knowledge of : basic medical nomenclature, nature of human diseases, relationship between environment and health, nature and mechanisms of action of the pathogens, constitutive elements, structure and function of the immune system, acquisition of the basic skills in the use of diagnostic and analytical instruments and methods provided by immunology.
