Learning outcomes
The purpose of the course is to present the fundamental mechanisms of the animal physiology. The course organization is based upon three themes: part 1 is devoted to basic cellular physiology; part 2 analyzes the coordinated body functions; part 3 deals with the integrative mechanisms involved in the internal environment homeostasis.
Knowledge of: Basic mechanisms of cellular physiology; Role of organs and systems in integrated functions; Organism/environment relationships and homeostasis. Quantitative analysis of physiological processes.
