Learning outcomes

Knowledge: the student will gain a wide knowledge on the most sustainable strategies for soil fertility management, canopy management, fertilization, irrigation, knowledge on agricultural machinery characteristics and performances for a correct and efficient use in organic vineyard farm.
Skills: the student will be able to design an integrated management of organic vineyards, based on the choice of the proper tillage and soil cover strategies, the smart use of techniques and devices for monitoring grapevine status, the choice of the agricultural machinery, according to the specific technical and pedoclimatic conditions of an organic vineyard.
Behaviors: at the end of the course students will be able to design and implement a comprehensive and sustainable strategy of soil and grapevine management, agricultural machines and farm mechanization management in an organic vineyard farm.
