Learning outcomes
The study of the structure and reactivity of main organic functional groups. Experimental techniques of synthetic organic chemistry. Purification of organic compounds. Qualitative organic analysis.
To acquire the necessary background on structure -chemical properties relationship of the main organic functional groups to suggest strategies for the interconversion between organic compounds and the synthesis of simple organic molecules.
To acquire also the theorethical background and basic experimental skills to carry out the preparation, purification, and identification of functional groups of organic compounds.
