The course is aimed at teaching the synthesis and reactivity of arenes and heteroarenes compounds and some their functionalized derivatives; the characterization, synthesis, reactivity (protecting groups) and stereochemistry of glycosides as well as disaccharides and polysaccharides, with an emphasis on their involvement in industrial application.
Aim of the course of Laboratory of Organic Chemistry II is to teach the experimental aspects and applications of some of the processes described in the theoretical course alongside with isolation, purification of the products obtained.
