The course introduces the basic principles of instrumental
analysis for the measurement of the main process variables in the chemical industry, such as temperature, pressure, flow, level, and composition. Since successful process control requires appropriate instrumentation, the operating characteristics, application fields, and
installation criteria of most common instrumentation are presented.
