The objective of this course is to provide students with the
ability to apply mass and energy conservation principles and the second law of thermodynamics to the most common operations of chemical industry. In particular,
multicomponent and multiphase mixtures are studied, together with phase changes, chemical reactions, electrochemical equilibrium and surface phenomena.
