The aim of the "Philosophy and Literature" course is to investigate the multiple relationships between philosophy and literature through the analysis of an author, a specific period or a theme that is particularly significant in this key.The course is interdisciplinary in nature and aims to promote the study of the interaction between philosophical discourse and literary discourse, understood in their respective specificities and at the same time observed in their areas of intersection, in specific historical and cultural contexts. It presupposes skills relating to the history of philosophy or the history and theory of literature, aiming to broaden these skills in order to develop the student's training in an interdisciplinary perspective. At the end of the course, the student will have acquired theoretical and methodological knowledge that will enable him/her to critically discuss the relationship between philosophy and literature and to analyse the literary forms and figures present in philosophical texts, as well as the cognitive and moral values present in literary texts.
