Learning outcomes
- to understand the role of case conceptualization in cognitive-behavioral approaches; to develop case conceptualization skills for assessing patient difficulties, establishing a treatment plan, and identifying obstacles to the intervention process;
- to gain knowledge on basic behavioral principles and procedures as well as competence in applying them (e.g., arousal reduction, exposure strategies, contingency management, shaping, stimulus control, self-management, interpersonal skills; behavioral activation);
- to gain knowledge and competence on basic cognitive principles and procedures (REBT; Beck’s cognitive-behavioral therapy; constructivism and post-rationalism therapies)
