To provide the basic conceptual rudiments of mental disorders through study of the history of psychopathology and psychiatric semeiotics, learning methods, criteria of normal/abnormal behavior, phenomenology, epidemiology, categorical and dimensional diagnosis of main mental disorders and their etiopathogenesis. These will serve as a basis with which to stimulate critical judgment of the concept of normality/abnormality and of the ethical and moral implications related to the phenomena and the constructs of psychopathology
