Learning outcomes
- to gain knowledge of the pathological dynamics underlying psychic functioning through the use of dynamic psychology techniques; to acquire knowledge about the unconscious and psychodynamic therapeutic tools; to acquire skills on the therapist's mentalization qualities and psychodynamic approaches to the therapeutic setting.
- to provide theoretical and practical bases regarding mindfulness both as a construct and as a millenary practice. The goal is to acquire skills on the principles of the “mindful” mind and on the application of vipassana meditation and yoga techniques in mindfulness-based interventions applied to clinical and preclinical contexts. The course also aims at informing the students about the most recent developments in the science of meditation
