This course in Foundations of Mathematics Education proposes to develop: knowledge of theoretical models and results of the research in mathematics education, knowledge and critical analysis of Italian principles and standards for school mathematics, knowledge and critical analysis of the theoretical frameworks of OCSE-PISA, TIMSS-PIRLS and INVALSI (Italian Institute for the Evaluation of the Educational System).
