Learning outcomes
The aims of the course are the following:
- to understand the role of infrastructure as drivers of economic growth and development;
- to understand and analyse the main economic characteristics of infrastructures;
- to get the analytical tools for network analysis;
- to understand the rationales for public finance, choice and regulation of infrastructures;
- to understand the methods and tools for investment evaluation, with particular reference to cost-benefit analysis
- to analyse the topic of port infrastructures, their competitiveness and the links with local economic development.
