Learning outcomes
Students who complete the course successfully will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the main issues related to oral surgery. He or she will acquire the knowledge of systems and technologies of extraction of the tooth and, in particular, the surgical removal of impacted third molars. He or she will be able to analyze correlate the principles of diagnosis, etiology, and treatment of major surgical diseases. Finally, he or she will be aware of surgical instruments modern surgical approaches and surgical technique.
Students who complete the course successfully will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the terminology gnathological, the main fields of interest of this discipline, the most common problem areas in gnathology, and disorders of the temporomandibular joint most widely encountered. He will also learn the methodological bases for rational management of the relationship with the patient, semiotics, and specific clinical examination gnathological general, as well as interdisciplinary connections between Gnathology and other fields of dentistry. In addition, the student will be enabled to learn the practical use of the materials, the range of instruments gnathological, examining the relationship between functional and Gnathology and dental practice. The student will also be introduced to clinical departments, in order to allow him to learn the methods and diagnostic semeiological more widely used in gnathology.
