Learning outcomes
The student, who complete the course successfully, will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding 1) of all vital functions ensuring the homeostasis of the human body and 2) of their cellular mechanisms. He will acquire knowledge on the functional roles of
cardiovascular, renal, respiratory and gastrointestinal systems that control the vegetative life and on their dynamic integration. Moreover, the student will also learn the operations of the central and peripheral nervous system and of the endocrine system.The course will focus on the physiology of the stomatognathic system, with emphasis on functional aspects of the oral cavity and control mechanisms supporting orofacial sensory e motor activity.
