Learning outcomes

Contents
Social and political thought, with special attention to the 20th century European continental tradition. Teaching activity will be focused to analyze a relevant outcome of the philosophy of social sciences, as well as to discuss its philosophical relevance.

Outcomes
Students who complete the course successfully will be able to analyze contemporary philosophical writings. Furthermore, they will be aware of the manifold connections of contemporary social life, as politics and the state, secularization, mass society, war and international conflicts, relations between science, religion, ethics and politics, conflicts of values,etc.
