The course is designed to teach students the basic knowledge of microbial biology, physiology, taxonomy and ecology, in order to understand the microbial role in the environment function and protection. The course will introduce the structure and functions of microbial cells in the main microbial group, and the physiological and genetic mechanisms to match the environmental conditions.
