Study of the elementary particle physics at the hadronic colliders , mainly proton-proton and proton-antiproton. The study of the quark and gluon interactions, which are the proton constituents, already provided many fundamental discoveries in particle physics. A review of the results obtained at the past accelerators: ISR, SPS collider and Tevatron is presented together with the physics perspectives at the new proton-proton collider: LHC
