Educational Goals
The course is institutional and is particularly directed to students who have never dealt with issues related to the birth and development of the press and its influence in European society. First you want to offer, albeit in broad terms, an overview of issues and dynamics of the book market in Europe in relation to social and economic development and religious issues. In the following , the program will address specifically the development of publishing in Italy since the birth of the domestic market (with literacy, technological development, high runs) to current issues such as the concentration of businesses, the fragility of the market etc.
