The course is aimed to study events regulating the relation plant-pathogen. Molecular basis of physiopathology, that is mechanisms performed by pathogens for their attack and by plants for resistance to disease, and of the whole processes involved in the cross-talking between the pathogen and its plant host will be analysed. Knowledge needed to understand specific pathogen-plant recognition mechanisms and defence strategies used by plants will be provided.
